[The nerves are like giant screaming signs posted all over Edward and Kol gets it. It's something that the other vampire desires, needs in his bones and yet knows he shouldn't try all at once. Kol wants to be a soothing presence. He wants to show Edward that they can do this together. It's a big thing, but Kol is pretty sure that they can pull it off if they work on it.

Kol also pulls off his shirt, because if there's going to be a mess, it makes it easier without his shirt. He'd normally get naked, but he doesn't want to make Edward more uncomfortable.]
